EURO Semi Final Russia VS Spain.

What a cracking game this is going to be. Two attacking minded side playing for the last spot in the final. Who will it be?

The Spanish are favorite and will they be able to come away with the result after seeing how the Russian dismantle the title favorite Holland in the quarter final? They now know that it’s not going to be easy as in the first match where they take apart the Russian with a 4 - 1 victory.

Now that the Zenit’s playmaker is back from suspension, we can see how different this Russian side is. They are full of energy and are very determine to win.

The Spanish do have their weakness and it’s in their defence. Sergio Ramos loves to leave a gap behind and we don’t need to explain any further to Hiddink where Spain weakness is. This wizard is the master of tactician.

The Spanish too knows how to play against the Russian and today will promise to be a cracking game with both side playing the same style of football. The Russian and Spanish prefers to play the ball on the ground instead of pumping it high for their strikers to chase.

In a big game of this magnitude, it does not only depend on a talented team to win the game, but a talented coach is a more important factor and I believe Hiddink don’t want to fail for the third time. It’s time for him to finally get a break into the final.

I will gladly accept the handicap of Russia +1/2 and keep the Vodka flowing for this competition.

EURO Quarter Final Holland VS Russia

Holland has been scoring goals like rain pouring down from the sky! They are a very good attacking side and can take on any defence.

Russia is a different class if you are going to compare with Holland. On paper, it’s Holland all the way. But the Russian has a very talented coach in Guus Hiddink who knows how to bring an average team to the top. The pressure is on Holland to deliver and will they be up to it.

The Russian could have scored more than six goals past the Swede and this shows that the Russians are also capable of scoring goals and any team that can beat England is a worthy team!

It will be an open attacking game today and this promise to be a cracker.

I will gladly accept the handicap of Russia +1 for this game.

EURO Quarter Final - Portugal VS Germany

Germany qualify to the quarter final with an unconvincing 1 - 0 against the host, Austria. They will meet one of the campaign favorite Portugal in this quarter final.

Portugal lost 2 - 0 in their last game which saw them already qualify into the next phase.

Germany is no longer the strong defence team they used to be. Their defence has been their problem right during the EURO qualification campaign where you can see even a team like Belarus can put two past them.

Against the skillful Portuguese side, if they are not going to tighten their defence, we can see Ronaldo and company to run them to the ground.

But in attack, the German should not have any problem but I am quite surprise if Gomez will still start today. Klose need another partner and putting Kuryani is a better option with Podolski playing behind them.

This will be an open game and anything can happen and we can expect a total goal over for this game.

EURO - Switzerland VS Portugal

The last game of this group see Switzerland who is already out of the competition taking on the group leader Portugal.

Portugal is in fine form and as the runners up in the last EURO outing, will want to make amends to the disappointment last EURO. They have already qualify to the quarter final and will just need a point to stay top of the group.

Switzerland on the other hand, had a bad campaign this year and was unlucky in their first game to lose to the Czech and also to the Turks in their last game.

They will take this game to the Portuguese and will want to restore some pride today but they are a different class against the Portuguese.

I see the Swiss not to lose today and at least get one point out of this competition.

Take Switzerland +1/4 on Asian Handicap

EURO - Germany VS Poland

Germany is my favorite this competition and let’s see if they can dispose the Polish in this opening game convincingly.

Poland is also a strong team and it will be how well the Germans hold on to their defence today. In attack, they don’t have problems scoring goals but it’s in the defence that can make they loose points.

Germans to win today and to take the lead in the first half.

EURO - Austria VS Croatia

Will it be another upset for another host nation for Austria when they take on Croatia today?

Croatia is a fine team with strong midfield and attack. It showed clearly when they knocked England out of the competition.

Austria is an average team but they will have a strong home support like what Switzerland displayed yesterday.

I see austria not to lose this game today.
