Something about Asian Handicap Betting
I was sitting down looking at the odds movement and this came across my mind and I want to share it with everybody.
In Asian handicap, there’s the odds movement and also there’s the money return odds.
Most of the time, if we are betting on the favorite, the money return odds will be quite low and I feel that this is not worth the bet. You have to consider this properly, if we bet on 5 games with this kind of return odds, we will only be getting back 70 - 80 percent of our stake.
If along the way, should you lose one or two game in between, you might even be making less than 70% of your stake or even worst.
This is one of the bookie tactic as they know that most punters will still bet even though the money return odds is ridiculously low.
So my point is try to skip on the placing any bets if the money return odds is below 75% of the money that you put in.

Hi Eric,
I totally agree with you on skipping bets when the money return odds is too low. I had an experience where I bet 10 games and actually won 6 game and lose 4 games but I still end up losing…WTF
I usually go for level money odds or if it is around 85% and above. Anything below, I will just skip..It’s not worth the bet.
Tks

Hey Kelvin,
Good thinking and it will surely worth it for not going for those kind of low money return.
In the long run, we’ll make good money for skipping these kind of low money return.
